Effective ways to become more relaxed

Jan 10, 2020

When we are stressed with our lives, all kinds of things can occur. We might want to shut the doors and not speak to anyone, or we might need to just start punching the closet thing near us. The stress that occurs to us often can lead to frustration which might lead to anger which can lead to depression. This makes it impossible for all to live a peaceful and steady lives.

Be aware of stress

The first things you must do when dealing with stress is to be aware that the stress is happening to them. Never go all of the sudden into a fit. Learn from the moment when stress hits so we can be ready for it the next time. To do this, when you are frustrated or anger suddenly, just stop what you are doing and take a step back. Go to some calm place where you are alone.

Calm down

The next thing to do is to calm down. This can be done through breathing exercises where one is targeted on the sound and pattern of the breathing. Ensure you inhale deeply and exhale longer than inhale. Allow the oxygen come in and out through the body. Feel and target on this and you will find yourself not worrying too much about what has caused you to be stressed.

Find out what caused you stress

After calming down, find what causes your stress? Was it something that a person said? Is it having too much of work load? Is it doing too many things at once? Stress often occurs as a result of not being able to be in control. Accept that you can’t control all, but try your best to control what you can. Jot down the issues that cause you stress and aim on solutions or changes that can make in order to prevent stress the next time.

Eating right

Stress can be a cause of simple sugars that you don’t know about the foods that you consume on the regular basis. Ensure you are educated on the foods and drinks you have, so rather than having high energy during one moment and then low energy during the next moment, you will have a constant level of high energy throughout the day.

How to build a strong marriage relationship?

Jan 5, 2020

If you have been reading and getting your love relationship tips from famous magazines to help your marriage, then you will know first hand that the love relationship advice they offer can be rather shallow.

Sure, you can learn where to bring your partner for a nice holiday or the various ways to express the love, but what’s missing is a good love relationship advice on how to build a strong marriage.

Building and maintaining trust

Trust is the foundation of a marriage, and many break down as of the lack of trust. So while a lot of love relationship tips tell you that trust can develop on its own, there is no harm putting in extra effort to enhance your marriage.

First of all, have integrity. This is the consistency of the character and instances include calling when you tell you will and show up when you promise to. And avoid making empty promises that you have no intention of keeping.

Getting involved in financial planning

This is one essential love relationship advice, as it can get your marriage into serious troubles if you wish not to work on it. Even if there is only one bread winner in a family, both you and your spouse must get involved in financial planning.

I agree, its not easy and fun to talk about money problems especially if you both are in debt, but to keep issues at bay, put aside time once a month to plan the financial situation.

Mark my words, it gets hassle – free and a lot less stressful the more you two get involved.

Making efforts to end your arguments

No one is perfect, and your spouse is bound to keep doing the same annoying things to anger you. And very often, the two might get into arguments and begin to yell at one another.

But the truth is, your ability to spread post – argument tension can make or break the relationship. So, this advice is a love relationship that you just can’t ignore.

Learn to focus on how to stop the annoying things from happening, but on stopping the arguments when it occurs.

Leading a spiritual life

Jan 1, 2020

This little presumes that a person knows that a spiritual life is. But most people don’t know what a spiritual life is. The reasons are because many people don’t lead a spiritual life.  All of us live a physical life, the life of our body. So, we just look at our body and ask how this body live. We lead a physical life because of the body that we have.

Almost all of us also love a mental life, the life of our mind. We think, reflect and reason. So we have a mind. The ones who don’t live this life might be retarded mentally. They have a mind which no longer grows. They might be fifty years old physically but their mind has remained at the level of a one or two years old. But for most of us we lead a mental life.

Leading a spiritual life

Leading a spiritual life is different. For one it might be confused with leading a religious life. Up until the last century most people though that the religious life was a spiritual life. So, we had congregations and religious orders whose members though they were leading a spiritual life as they were leading a religious life: praying, reading books and other spiritual books, meditating, helping friends, etc.

But lately there is a phenomenon. Non – religious persons will be busy in learning more about the spiritual life. And when they plan that, they were not at all referring to the religious life of people. In fact, some of these non – religious persons who were performing research on a spiritual life thought that the spiritual life is in various ways totally different from the religious life.

So, the questions are, is spiritual life different from religious life?

The religious life starts from a specific ritual and its best started by a teacher who guides the candidate to this spiritual life. The teacher might employ a ritual or he may not. But he will guide the student as a tour guide would guide a traveller as they enter the building of historical importance.

Inner peace – simple steps to achieve it

Dec 23, 2019

If you are struggling for inner peace in troubled times, is a gift you offer to yourself. Given the hectic and hustle and bustle lives, we lead it hard to feel calm inside especially when you face conflicting demands from your work and family commitments. Today’s post is all about inner peace and how to achieve it. This will help you stay peaceful and calm when stress levels are skyrocketing and you are under pressure to think straight and make important plans.

The state of being inside your heart is inner peace where you feel grounded and connected and at ease with your world around and body. When you exercise, specifically a mind-body physical activity like yoga, have a restorative bodywork session, you enable your body to breathe and let go of physical tension and emotions. Once you are comfortable with this, it becomes easier for you to feel the sense of connection and alignment between mind and body.

Nourish and nurture yourself

A sound mind in a healthy body is a famous quote. From a yogic perspective, your mind and body are inextricably linked. The more you look and care about your body the easier it becomes for you to stay positive and bright. And when you feel cheerful and bubbly, your mind is a step closer to being in that state of peace and calm. Try to eat wholesome energy-rich foods, regular sleep habits, seasonal detox, massages, etc.

Be passionate

Time flies when you are engaged. Maybe you are a baker or a singer, practice something you care about regularly and which makes you feel great inside. As long as your actions don’t harm others, being passionate and creative, puts you in the flow and enables your expansive energy to soar and rise.

Learning mindfulness meditation to attain self-realization

Dec 23, 2019

Mindfulness meditation is really the essence of yoga and meditation. And if you practice the Zen technique given below not only in your sitting meditation but in your day – to – day life, it will guide you lead you into deep states of meditation and even self-realization. Your natural experience of life will be one of unconditional bliss and peace.

Mindfulness meditation means allowing everything to come and go while remaining resting in a present moment. So, first, you must breathe. Allow it to breath to move in and out as it wants without trying to control it in any way.

And while you are allowing yourself to breathe consciously, also enable whatever sensations you are feeling to be as they are. Don’t focus on a sensation and don’t resist any sensations, you are feeling to be as they are.

Try this for now. Just allowing breathing to occur and allow the feeling to happen. You must not describe the sensations, analyze them or think about them in any way. Just enable them while remaining resting at this moment.

Now the deeper part of mindfulness meditation deals with thinking. As you are sitting, now practice allowing thoughts to come and go. Never try to control the thinking in any way. Just allow the thoughts to come and go.  Go with the flow of thoughts coming and going rather than getting caught up in the content of the thoughts.

The challenging part is not get caught up in the thoughts. Allow it to come and go without getting involved with them.  It might help to passively let go of the thoughts as they come. Never try and push them away, there must be no trying to control the thoughts but rather as thoughts arise, they pass by. Never try to hold on any thought.

Finding peace within yourself

Dec 23, 2019

When your mind is away from anger, you attain peacefulness within. You must know that anger will always be present in your mind and everywhere you go and if you ever wish to be in peace with himself you must not let anger overtake you. You find more for peace when you are angry.

A peaceful mind knows that to live a peaceful life, you must become righteous. You must not be blinded with your anger and desire to live a peaceful life. You realize that those that surround you are not to blame if your mind is ever to be disorderly or chaotic. You recognize that if there is someone to blame you, you blame yourself.

A sound peaceful soul knows best that the situations in life despite its positive and negative outcomes are not going to bring you down. Anger when present in your mind will never allow itself to be manipulated as you take the responsibility completely for your own peace. Anger does not overcome a peaceful soul or his purpose of being somebody in life.

To be honest you reach a peaceful mind when you unveil those obstacles that blind your purpose. If you create chaos in your mind, you take action to remedy it. You do this immediately because peace is better than unhappiness. You don’t want to struggle with unhappiness in your life.

If you are striving for peace of mind begin creating this within by admitting your faults, damages, and imperfection he has caused to your family and himself. You don’t point the finger at anyone else but yourself when peace is not within you. If you are peaceful always confess you are wrongdoings to himself and others. Confessions have to be brought out in the open and you must accept it with full honesty.

Once you are fully open and honest with yourself you realize that the only person stopping yourself from being peaceful is yourself and this way of thinking. You have lived most of your life angry but its time to change.

Improving self-esteem and living a better life

Dec 23, 2019

One common question counselors and psychologists of all kinds find themselves these days on how to improve self-esteem. The majority of the people who pose this question tend to be those who have come to a decision that most of the unhappiness in their lives is attributable to low self-esteem. They, therefore, seek to know how they can improve their self – esteem and hence overcome the unhappiness in their lives brought by low self-esteem – conversely increasing the happiness in their lives.

Low self-esteem and unhappiness

The assumption that at least some happiness is brought about by low self-esteem is one we have to deal with, before proceeding with the discussion on how to improve self-esteem and increase your happiness. We first of all need to handle the query as to whether, indeed, it is true that some unhappiness is brought about by low self-esteem. While most people have already accepted it as a statement of fact, there are those who prefer to contest it. But given the fact that this is not really a discussion on the relationship between low self-esteem and unhappiness, we are not going to dwell too much on that question.

One of the great worries caused in our lives is what others will think of us. This tends to be inversely related to our self-esteem. This is to say, the lower our self-esteem, the greater the worry about other’s perceptions to us tend to be. Conversely, the higher our levels of self-esteem, the less/lower our worry about other’s perceptions of us.

Higher self-esteem leads to more happiness

Now, consider this: how great would your happiness (then it is now) if you did not worry too much about others’ perception of you like what others might think you, what others might tell about you… and so on? If you answer that question honestly, you will see how working to improve self-esteem can result in enhanced happiness.

Of course, there are various other mechanisms through which improved self-esteem results in enhanced happiness. It is also worth remembering that people with high self-esteem tend to have a better relationship with themselves.
