We should always remember that we live in a physical world but a major part of our living is done in our head. You cannot control the outside world but you can definitely control your head, your feelings and your reactions. Use this control to remain calm.

The best way to remain calm in stressful situations is to face the situation and not try to run from it. Acknowledge that the situation is what it is and take deep breaths if anxiety persists.

Completely agree with Mr. Allen. We live in our head for most part of our lives. Train it to be calm. Practice meditation.

Remind yourself that you have no control over people or situations but you have full control about how you feel. Decide to feel less stressed and calm and take your mind in a different direction consciously.

When we are in state of agitation, we do immense harm to our body, mind and soul. Since your peace of mind is more important that any damn thing in this world, stop over-reacting to every situation.
