When someone hates you, you want to show him what you are made of. This itself acts as a motivator. Your hater keeps a keen eye on you and wishes that you fall down. One can take this as a good opportunity to eliminates one’s weaknesses and build on strength.

One can be automatically motivated when one knows that the other person wants him to fall. But that is a negative seedling I guess. The motivation which stems out of this negativity cannot last long.

I believe that hatred is a more powerful feeling than love, and this power can actually be harnessed to motivate oneself. No question of negatives and positives here.

Motivation that comes out of anger and other people’s hatred has a definite energy. This energy, though negative, can be used in a positive way for self motivation.

It is ok to use hatred as a motivational factor. It has great energy too. But in fit of vengeance and counter hatred, one can be prone to making careless mistakes left and right. One should make sure that the adrenalin rush does not let you makes silly and avoidable mistakes.
